How to hypnotize someone into sleep?

I was at my friends house for a party and her brother had invited some of his friends over. He got this thing off the internet and then he made his friend fall asleep for 10 seconds. At first we didn't believe him so he tried it with my friend and she did sleep for like 2 seconds. I tried looking for it but i couldn't find it. It started out by the hypnotizer and the hynotizee having their hands on top of eachother and each of them pushing in one direction. Just thought this could be a hint.
