How can I get this guy to like me again?

Okay. Help. I've been really in love with this guy for well over a year now. I've been in a relationship with him before that lasted about 7 months. So, as the relationship got older, he fell in love with me too. But as it progressed, the more i found out about him. He has a few issues in the head, some attachment issues to his biological parents that cause him to have a hard time being intimate. We also never knew what to talk about because there never WAS anything to talk about. We rarely did anything together because his mom basically hated me... And he had a really hard time talking... He just never knew what to say, and he neeever shows emotion. He also really liked this other girl, but she's finally old news. We resolved our issues, we play games together, and she's out of his life now, we broke up 7 months ago, so it seems another shot may be an okay thing to do. I also happen to know that he never stopped liking me, he told me to my face when one day i finally had the guts to ask him how he felt. This was about two weeks ago. He just for some reason won't be in a relationship with me again, and i really need him right now. I literally spend my nights staying up until about three in the morning just worrying bat what's going to happen with him the next day. I occasionally still find myself crying over it, just thinking about the types of things he used to say to me. And please no rude answers, im having a really tough time right now and i just need some purely honest, good solid advice. So what should i do or say?? Thanks so much for your time and advice, Kris(:
