Holding hands?

Hey me and my best friend are going to the movies with a girl i like and another good friend of ares. I was thinking about sitting next to her and during the movie trying to hold her hand. Do you think that this would be a good first move? Is it more corny or sweet? If you dont think its a good first move what do you sugest?
