Is it normal not to have with your long-term partner?

I did not read it, I read up until this part " and I have been together for three years now, yes we are gay " and wondered what this was doing in this section? I think heteroual relationships are slightly different. You will probably get the usual comparisons that you do, but we both know your minorities culture has many different attitudes when it comes to monogamous relationships.
